just don't get it
what makes a disaster a disaster? is it the loss of human life? is it the anguish and suffering of the survivors? is it the instanteous sobriety that is abrubtly coerced out of the human psyche, highlighting the contrast between the futility of prior concern and the precarious crudeness of the human condition in the wake of widespread carnage? it can happen to you. it did happen to you. if you change the channel you increase the likelihood of it happening again. lapse back into a coma and delude yourself into believing that you are put here to stay. dont wait for Nature to clean your slate. the Earth is alive, what you do to it so shall it be done unto you. no man above karma. but not even the fiercest of tides nor the hottest of flames can annhilate our attachment. some of us are waiting for it to all be blown away. for most it would be an improvement. for those to whom it would make no difference, tranquility surely resteth within. lets start anew.
